2012 CONVENTION

MAY 20-23, 2012

HOST HOTEL: FRANCIS MARION HOTEL

for more information, watch this website or contact ealsilverliners@yahoo.com

Our host hotel was the West Palm Beach Marriott. After enjoying a Welcome Happy Hour – Poolside - with a Fashion Show by Chico’s Clothing and our own member models, attendees took a Duck Tour up the Intracoastal Waterway and viewed the magnificent Palm Beach mansions. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the Flagler Museum to see the fabulous private home of tycoon Henry Flagler.

2011 Silverliners International Board Meeting

May 12 – 15, 2011 found us in beautiful Palm Beach, Florida for fun and festivities as we met with our fellow flight attendants from across the country. The theme this year was Pirates of the Caribbean!
On Thursday, attendees visited Clematis Street for a street festival featuring the area's best rock, R&B, reggae, blues, soul, swing and Latin music. Friday night found us enjoying the authentic Italian cuisine in a casual, vibrant atmosphere at the Il Bellagio Restaurant at the historic cultural arts center in City Place. After dinner, attendees took advantage of the free concert in the plaza outside the restaurant.

More activities and dining experiences were available to the attendees, but the favorite of the Meeting was the Saturday night “Pirate Dinner”. Whether in pirate costume, cocktail dress or casual attire, the Palm Beach Chapter out-did themselves, hosting a fabulous dinner with all the window dressings. Don’t miss out on the next one…they just keep getting better and better!

2010 Boston Convention

Guided by members of the CCC Chapter, including many from the former Boston Chapter, Silverliners and their guests enjoyed “Fun on Land and Sea”.  A “fun” dinner at the “No Name Restaurant” launched the festivities.  On “Land” we visited Quincy Market, the Newberry Street boutiques, Faneuil Hall and were feted at the Awards Banquet with food, entertainment, award presentations and officer’s installation.

On “Sea” we boarded amphibious vehicles and did the Duck Tour of Boston Harbor as well as heading out on the Samuel Clemens Riverboat for a real Boston Clam Bake.

No big surprise: Everyone had a great time.

Come join your fellow SILVERLINERS…all former Eastern Air Lines flight attendants are welcome!
