FLL –The FLL (Fort Lauderdale, FL) Chapter is proud of its history.  Doris Self, one of the original founders of the Silverliners when she lived in New Jersey, relocated to Fort Lauderdale with her pilot husband.  She hosted a luncheon in 1970 and the saga of the FLL Chapter began.  Over the years the chapter has hosted numerous fashion shows (they were the “in” thing)…Days at the Races…and our “Flight to the North Pole”.  Today we are resting on our laurels and meet for lunch once a month, exploring new and delightful restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area.  We enjoy being together, miss the ones no longer with us and welcome any and all former FLL Chapter members and former flight attendants in the area to join us for lunch!  Please contact tinabayne@aol.com

GMIA – Greater Miami Chapter meets once a month either at a local restaurant or at someone’s home.  Since combining the Miami and South Miami Chapters the members are quite spread out, but still work at getting together.  The Chapter invites all former members to come for lunch and enjoy the camaraderie of this group as it works to re-energize.  If you are interested, please email:  constancekerrigan@yahoo.com

HOLE IN THE WALL GANG CAMP FOUNDATION UPDATE
For over twenty years, Silverliners International has raised monies to benefit the Hole in the Wall Gang We initially built a cabin which is identified by a plaque reading “Eastern Airlines Silverliners”. Inside the cabin are framed photos of EAL flight attendants and airplanes. Over the years we have made contributions for refurbishment and upkeep of the cabin. We continue to support the camp through funds raised by the chapters to support
camp scholarships. Silverliners as a group and individually have visited the camp and are welcomed by the staff and campers. For further information on the camp, please visit their website at
